    Defense Minister of Sweden gets to stay in IT Outsourcing Scandal

    The Swedish government decided to outsource extremely sensitive data to IBM Sweden which then turned around and used vendors in Romania and the Czech Republic which could have copied the data. So far two government ministers had to resign but it looks like the third is staying.

    For some reason we have not had anything similar reported in the US but perhaps it is just a question of time.

    Interestingly, I am told the consulting market in Sweden is better than in the US because the companies don't outsource to the same extent as in the US - they want the consultants to speak Swedish.
