There are a lot of new things for developers but there does not seem to be many new items for administrators - that's at least what I saw so far and it was corroborated by an IBMer.

Lotus 8.5 is an interesting addition - but is it convenient?  From what I understand so far, in order to make the attachments that are stored directly in a file directory called DAOS secure they are encrypted by the server ID.   However, in order to move mailfiles they need to be reversed, the complexity of that still remains to be determined.
